Millions of young people across India’s villages and urban slums have quietly stepped away from the workforce. Not because they don’t want to work — but because they believe no opportunity exists for them, and they don’t have the skills to earn one.
At KSWA Yuva Parivartan, our skilling programs are designed to bridge this gap by creating pathways to livelihood, not just learning. The focus is on enabling individuals to build income through practical skills that are relevant to their local context and opportunities.
YP works primarily with youth who have been left out of mainstream skilling — people who have stopped looking for opportunities because they believe none exist for them. Our core target groups include:
Skill training at YP is never about filling seats. It is about ensuring that every young person who walks into one of our centres walks out with a practical skill, a sense of direction, and a real shot at earning a livelihood. Our courses are NSDC-approved, industry-relevant, and taught by experienced trainers. But what makes our training different is what happens around the classroom — we are with our youth at every step.

We reach out to youth in communities and create awareness about opportunities.

Our expert counsellors understand aspirations and guide youth towards the right path.

We assess strengths and aptitudes to help youth discover their true potential.

Industry-relevant training that builds job-ready skills and real-world confidence.

We build communication, confidence, and life skills for overall personality development.

Hands-on exposure to workplaces through visits, interactions, and live projects.

Government / industry-recognized certification that validates their skills and learning.

We connect youth with employers and support them till they secure meaningful jobs.

For aspiring entrepreneurs, we provide handholding support to start and grow their ventures.

Our journey continues with continuous support for long-term growth and success.
We currently operate with a deep focus on villages and small towns where mainstream training resources are absent. Our active geographic footprint spans:
Maharashtra • Chhattisgarh • Madhya Pradesh • Telangana • Karnataka • Goa
What makes this approach meaningful is its outcome — individuals are able to move from uncertain or irregular work to more stable and dignified sources of income. In many cases, a single trained individual becomes the primary earning member of the family.
Over time, this creates a ripple effect. Families gain financial stability, communities become more resilient, and individuals gain confidence to take charge of their future. For donors and supporters, skill development is one of the most direct ways to create long-term impact. It is not a one-time intervention, but a step toward sustained livelihood and independence.
